Too Tired to count

I've been attempting to count how many days have gone by since April stopped talking to Dakota and have been caught up with life.  I started my new job today and went out for ice cream to celebrate. The ice cream cost us $52.00 , I just spent what I made.  :(  I'll try counting tomorrow.

She's not my mother-in-law: She's my husband's mother: How many days?

She's not my mother-in-law: She's my husband's mother: How many days?: "Well, I attempted to count how many days have gone by since the in-laws betrayed Dakota's wife and did not find the time. Looking for ..."

How many days?

Well, I attempted to count how many days have gone by since the in-laws betrayed Dakota's wife and did not find the time.  Looking for work is a full time job.  Why don't husband's understand this?  As a matter of fact my girlfriend who just had a baby 5 months ago, told me her husband commented how great it would be to just stay home and watch tv with the baby like she does.  Say what!?!  I guess I don't feel so bad after hearing my husband "remind" me to find a job, after I have sent over a  hunded resumes, been on 3 interviews, with a 4th on Wednesday, and start a part time job next week all in only one month?  Go Figure.

Countdown to Reconciliation

Well we watched Julie and Julia last night.  What a great movie!  I liked it so much that I have been inspired to count down the number of days that go by before April apologizes to Dakota for lying about him in the stand and helping to take his children away.  Tomorrow I will have a better estimate of how many days have gone by so far and will be jotting down all the wonderful times and events in his life that she is missing on a daily basis.

New Year - New Goals?

Will 2011 be the year with blessing from heaven?  Will this be when the mother-in-laws who have refused to welcome or accept their daughter-in-laws make ammends?  What do you say?  If not, when?

Naomi and Ruth part two

These two women came from different ethnic backgrounds, religion, and generations, yet their bond was rare.  In-laws were meant to get along, support each other, and back one another up.  Ruth's story was deliberately put in the Bible to make this point.  How do we go back to this principle?

Naomi and Ruth - Examples of how in-laws should behave

Ruth wanted to stay with her mother-in-law Naomi because of how GOOD the mother-in-law treated her.  This is how an in-law relationship should be.  Not the way in-law relationships are today.  Do you agree?

New Jersey Bound

Are mother-in-laws in Jersey any different than mother-in-laws in Georgia?  Now that I am back north; I'm going to find out.  If you have any thoughts or feedback on potential differences, drop me a line.
